I started working with Mark Winston last year on his Dead Superheroes Orchestra Project. Mark is an incredible composer and musician who has been developing this music and concept for years. The music is based around a surrealistic account of a (true) story about an elementary school that burned down. The writing is incredibly complex, yet not in a showy way-it’s truly unique, and extremely musical. In this clip, you can hear some of the harp we recorded last month, with the extraordinary harpist Lauren Hayes.
