Waterdog Studios is the best kept secret in Chicago. There. I said it.  It’s located in the Chicago Arts District and construction was completed in late 2010 as an extension to Waterdog Records.  The place has a mind-blowing assortment of vintage and modern gear/instruments, an enormous lounge and kitchen space, tons of natural light and an amazing view over the Chicago river and Chinatown.  It’s also one of the best deals in the city, and as such, it’s become home for the vast majority of projects I work on.  I’m always open to working elsewhere in town but you’d be hard-pressed to find a place that’s a better value.  If you’re booking time with me, I can reserve studio time, or if you prefer, you can contact them directly:
